To avoid inconsistencies in future years, take notes from your root digs. Ensure soil conditions are optimal for planting, avoid "mudding in" the crop, & ensure you have proper down pressure on your planter & closing wheels are correct for your soils.
First fill-up with the new rig, after running just a few acres certainly going to take some getting used to, but can’t wait to see the results! @AgSpectrumCo #maximumfarming
Random digs before emergence shows if we made good seed-to-soil contact, avoided air pockets, & selected quality seed. A good start helps establish stand uniformity, establishes an effective root system, & sets the stage for yields.
